An unfortunate incident occured at Brenuakyim a town at Tarkwa in the western Region of Ghana where a 16 year old boy allegedly committed suicide because he has a grade 47 in the just ended Basic Education Certificate Exams.It is said that he hanged himself because he couldn’t get placement in any Senior High School. The boy having completed Jesus Mbrofra Preparatory School did not get any good grade but was hoping of getting placement but couldn’t. His uncle, Ebo Ayitey in an interview said that before committing the suicide he left a note saying” I can’t stay on this earth anymore because i did not get school.
