The deputy minister of finance, Hon Charles Adu Boahen has made mention that, Menzgold is expected to pay all its depositors their monies back and that the Company will not be allowed to operate following the refusal to provide legal documents. He continued that Menzgold should pay its costumers all their belongings and should not fail to do so.
A story that was monitored by Ghanatalkbussiness.com reviled that, the the Finance Minister ordered these words at the JoyBussiness financial forum Taged as”Changing Tide of Ghana’s Financial Service Sector. He stated that “With the Menzgold Issue i think it is clear the end is here, He is done”
The company that is headed by Nana Appiah Mensah was shut down by the state after he could not provide vital documents with regards to the terms and conditions with the National Security and Commission Board.
Since the company was shut down till now Nana Appiah Mensah has not been able to provide the required documents to the State, but MenzGold has decided to challenge the issue by SEC in Court. But we don’t actually know what will happen, and we don’t also know the Measures Menzgold has put in place for now.
Menzgold has earlier disclosed it that, they will pay all their depositers back, but the promised dates has changed for when the monies will be settled.
According to the Deputy finance Minister, Menzgold is lacking legal document to operate and their they have terminated the activities of the company.
He made mention that, despite the troubles and torture, Menzgold will have to pay its customers back the Capital without any failure.
